20+ years editing tv.. worked in corporates, news & current affairs, documentaries, animation (Bob the Builder & Pingu) and most recently (3.5yrs) commercials for Character Options - doing all audio and video post-production, including edit, motion graphics, colour grading, sound editing and mixing. Main tools are Apple Macs, Final Cut Studio, Adobe After Effects, Trapcode and Sapphire plug-ins, Digidesign ProTools, PMC monitors and Wacom tablet.

the single star is for looks alone....it looks great but mine died on only its third use!
After transferring some files to it (which it did do quickly), it ejected itself from my desktop, beeped a pathetic dying squeal then just flashed an ominous red led. According to G-Tech it must be a bad drive!
Really? They ain't kidding...if a hdd can't last more than three power-us before kicking the bucket, then i want nothing more to do with them.
I need reliability, and this is not. -
its flexible, portable, works with analogue and digital, even lets me calibrate an lcd for colour work.
can connect to laptop via expresscard34 and desktop via pcieamazing value for money
wish i'd got one years ago! -
costly, yes! but you get what you pay for in this world...and these are worth price.

extremely useful if you want to avoid commercials being rejected due to small text.

wish i had the format ranges to really test this...but it works flawlessly with the digibeta and 10bit uncompressed pal that i use.

Makes stop motion really easy, and without a huge learning curve. delve deeper and you'll find some really neat little touchs to help make your productivity and creativity that little bit more effective.
I liked the demo so much i bought the pro version!
