The hardware is great. After finally figuring out the EuControl software. it actually works pretty much as advertised. Also after getting used to the EuControl, it's easy to set up and use in almost every application. (I even have the soft keys set up as different web sites, etc.)
It's heavy and well built. The only cons I can really think of is the documentation. It really does need work. Throughout the User Guide, it tells you to refer to the User Guide for more info, which never comes. Other than that, it's pretty sweet.

Though I haven't yet made the costly plunge, I have used the demo. From what I've used, there are some fantastic plug-ins that would have taken me a long time to duplicate without it. Well worth the money, if you have it!

Quick and easy conversions. New version not only has HD, and with it conversion of MKV containers, but much more control of the conversion itself. I get on average 120 fps when converting.

Fantastic, quick editor. Extremely easy to adjust audio to a clip whose audio isn't synced with the video. Can also quickly remove commercials from a recorded tv performance. Highly recommend.

This product... it confuses me as much as it helps me. Luckily, it helps more often than not, so therefore I'm a fan. It's like a pre-conditioner. This, along with the input app Live Capture Plus is my main import for my FCP workflow. For some reason, my main machine does not like my Canon GL2. (Locks up the external drive every time I plug it in.) So in order to capture my tape, I need to capture it on another machine. This app along with Live Capture is my poor man's Final Cut Server. It logs, does my pre-cuts, and exports to FCP on my main machine—and keeps all the clips available. Still, It's got a huge learning curve and definitely not for the faint of heart.

Because really, why would we be here without it?

Would have never known these existed without FinalCutters.

Another winner for Euphonix. Everything is top notch, and definitely shows quality. The only thing I would think about changing would be the LCD screen. The LCD lays flat, and the angle that you are looking at it makes it hard to make out exactly what is on it. If there was a way to angle just the screen up, it would be perfect.
